Beware of Faulty kettles……!!

I recieved this Phillips kettle a few of weeks back. Unfortuanlty after 1 week the kettle has began to leak close to the main switch! Really harmful – we all know the issues with h2o and electricity! Phoned Phillips as well and documented it them, as this should be a major design flaw! There are other clients on Amazon getting the very same problem! Amazon have replaced the kettle with a model new one particular, with any luck , far better luck this time. Coudl be a batch dilemma, who is aware of, but Amazon should by now be speakig to Philips directly – I am certain they dont want any of their clients electricuted!! Get with warning!

Good Layout: Harmful Switch

This kettle has just failed after three years use. I favored the style and its relieve of use: easy to elevate and pours effectively. However, the water level indicator was virtually impossible to read, and it unsuccessful for factors well documented in these reviews, specifically the on-off swap grew to become erratic and then broke simply because of the ingress of drinking water or moisture. This is a critical fault that Philips has failed to handle which could have significant implications.

Quite very good purchase

This was very rated and recommended so I imagined I would give it a try. It lives up to the reviews. It is efficient and quick at boiling. Appears excellent. Only a few tiny details I would alter(but wouldn’t put me off getting): the lid isn’t going to have a button to easily open up, you have to pull it up, and the ‘cup’ indicator, so you do not more than fill it for your needs, is absolutely for cups, not for mugs. Great kettle or else.
