I’ll put a lid on it

Acquired the kettle in March 2011 and it was good with a quick boil good thoroughly clean drinking water, no scum on prime of tea etc. No complaints right up until August 2012 when the button for opening the lid started providing difficulty and opening the kettle became a issue. This has progressively got even worse until correct in between Christmas and New Yr the button for opening the lid collapsed in on alone, so now it will not open without the help of a knife. Have just requested a new kettle with a lid you can elevate off.
