Melting Times

I bought this kettle in Jan 2011. It does look wonderful. The manage has constantly been also very hot, but I labored out a way to select it up without burning myself. Following a year or so I noticed the heat-evidence masking on the lever for the spout was melting little by little. It has now melted away entirely. The heat-evidence manage masking is now also melting away beneath. I contacted the company, Meyer, and despatched them photographs. This kettle, after all, comes with a 10 Year Assure. The reaction I received was that the unit was not faulty but the melting was a consequence of too much warmth. This kettle has been on an normal dimensions burner on my fuel hob, not on the larger burner. My evaluation therefore is that the Kettle is not match for goal.1 star for the kettle and one star for Meyer Consumer Services and the pointless ten Year Promise. Off to acquire one thing less costly and with a better ranking.

this kettle is fine as extended as you have an oven glove nearby to keep the deal with, friends and household have frequently scorched them selves on it when pouring. Yesteray the take care of (rubber?) lastly fell absent in small parts. Off to acquire a different one particular. I wouldnt advocate it
